Four political prisoners on hunger strike in Spain for 20 days

 

4 of these political prisoners went on a hunger strike over two weeks ago. They are on a hunger strike as the only possible way to protest within jail walls, to denounce the violation of human and civil rights in Spain.

16 Catalan social and political leaders have been held in pre-trial detention or on forced exile for over a year, just because they made a referendum on self-determination possible, a referendum that people demanded for and which was voted by Parliament.  

Although Spanish law establishes a maximum of 30 days of pre-trial detention, Spanish injustice is not ruling on their appeals to avoid that Catalan political prisoners reach European Courts.

    Haven’t heard anything about it here in the north of Ireland,must been kept very quiet by the authorities…
