Report to UN Human Rights Committee

Catalan Association for Civil Rights (ACDC) was at UN Human Rights Committee to report the lack of judicial independence and the repression agains political and civil catalan leaders. The representative stated that "the actions of the Spanish judges do not comply with the principles of judicial independence and minimum rules of the General Assembly of the United Nations".

Today there are 16 members of the Catalan Government in exile or pre-trail detention. Some of them could not prepare an adequate defence as were summoned for rebellion crime in less than 24 hours in advance to more than five hundred kilometers from their address.

They also reported that the Judge Mr. Llarena used the first person plural to as if he was party concerned when decided that pre-trail detention.
