Valtonyc speaks out for freedom and fundamental rights with a version of the anti-fascist anthem Bella Ciao

Valtonyc has released a version of Bella Ciao today from exile along with the group of international artists Alegria e Libertà. The artist has spread this antifascist and social struggle hymn of the late 19th century through its twitter 'for the freedom and rights of everybody'.

Valtonyc was condemned to prison for 3 years and 6 months because of his song lyrics. In 2017 there were 20,000 people under investigation or fined in Spain for exercising basic human freedoms: clowns, teachers, journalists, social activists, fire-fighters, artists, elected representatives…
